Casa Viñas de Vera is a beautiful country property nestling in the heart of the Lecrin Valley in southern Spain. Surrounded by its own olive and citrus trees, deep within a traditional farming community, it is amazingly quiet and has the most incredible views across the valley. The house was bought as a ruin in 2005 and has been lovingly rebuilt, using as much of the original property as possible, including the old roof beams and the original front door. It is light and spacious, with 4 bedrooms, two bathrooms and a huge roof terrace to make the most of those views. The terrace is a fabulous spot for a sundowner and if you’re lucky, you may spot an eagle circling gracefully on the thermals. There is a large, private swimming pool which is a great place to relax and cool off in the summer.

The house is situated approximately 1km from the lovely white village of Restábal which has two grocery shops, a chemist, several bars and a locally renowned restaurant. The local bakery provides freshly baked bread, rolls, croissants, etc every morning and, should you find yourself in the village at the right time, there are regular fish and bread vans, hooting their horns to announce their whereabouts. The next village, Pinos del Valle, has a butcher selling top-quality meats so there is never any reason to go hungry.
